Flos was founded in 1962 in Merano, Italy in the exciting atmosphere that heralded Italian Design. Flos’ philosophy has been to manufacture lighting fixtures incorporating timeless leaps of imagination with technological advances. The early collections by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni became icons of Italian industrial design.

Over the years, prominent designers have collaborated with Flos including: Philippe Starck, Jasper Morrison, Rodolfo Dordoni, Piero Lissoni, and Marcel Wanders. Today, Flos is a company with an international scope that offers a full range of lighting products for both architectural and residential markets.
